About Me
Hi there, My name is Chelsea Eskridge!
I am passionate about all things, fitness! I just graduated with my degree in exercise science, and I'm here to help you reach your goals!
I know how difficult and overwhelming fitness can be when getting started. I can help you navigate your journey to a healthier you!
I did competitive cheerleading growing up and competed in 4 world championships. I always had a skewed idea of what healthy should look like. I thought that meant crash diets and endless cardio. It was a never-ending cycle that just left me more frustrated than before.
I discovered bodybuilding and created a healthy relationship with food and my body. I learned how to properly fuel my body and the magic of resistance training.
After competing in two bodybuilding shows, I wanted to try something different and found Olympic weightlifting. I instantly fell in love with the sport and have been competing since 2016. I currently train under Olympian hall of fame USA weightlifting coach, Cara Heads Slaughter and the CHFP Weightlifting team.
I wanted to take my love for fitness to the next level so I decided to pursue a degree in Exercise Science. I graduated in May 2023 from Salisbury University.
During my time at Salisbury University, I was fortunate enough to complete two internships. I volunteered with the SU Sports Performance program under NSCA COY, Matt Nein. I worked with Olympic sports including; field hockey, volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball and men's soccer.
Over the Summer in 2021, I completed a Strength and Conditioning internship at the University of Maryland. I worked with Olympic sports such as: wrestling, gymnastics, volleyball, field hockey, tennis, and men's and women's soccer.
All of this experience combined with years of coaching cheerleading has really shown me that coaching is my true passion in life. As much as I enjoy competing myself, nothing has been more rewarding than helping others to reach their goals.
I strive to give my clients the opportunity to harness their inner strength and discipline in order to build a strong and functional body, along with maintaining a positive self-image.
I am a huge advocate for approaching goals logically and sustainably in order to maximize long-term results. My mission is to allow my clients to reach their highest potential both mentally and physically, and for them to understand the process and be able to maintain or improve their results--with or without my guidance.
